Admissions Process

To become a student at Saint Joseph Catholic School, you must be offered admission. Your first step is to schedule a tour with our school office. When you come for your tour, please bring copies of your student’s report cards, learning accommodation information, or any documents that will allow us to view your student’s academic progress. Once all documents have been received, they will be reviewed by our admissions team. During the school year, your student(s) will be offered to participate in shadow days where they can interact with the teacher and classroom. After the shadow days, your student is offered admission, given a position on our wait list, or recommended to attend another school that may be a better fit for your child. Students in VPK and Kindergarten are offered admission in the order they are received.

 Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK)

At Saint Joseph Catholic School we participate in the State funded Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) program and have a separate PreK three-year-old program as well. We offer outstanding prekindergarten education in a safe, faith-based environment. Saint Joseph VPK program has been commended by the Early Learning Coalition of Brevard County for consistently attaining 100% kindergarten readiness for our students. The VPK program consists of 540 hours of instruction for the full school year program. Our VPK and PreK program include Religion, Art, & Music as part of the instructional program.

All Saint Joseph VPK teachers are highly qualified with degrees in the areas of early childhood and disabilities and all early learning classrooms have full–time aid.

If you are interested in registering your four-year-old for VPK at Saint Joseph, we invite you to contact us to meet with the principal and arrange a tour of the school.
